Proposition 30 would raise taxes on people who earn more than 250,000 a year and couples who earn more than 500,000 a year. Money would go to grades K-12 and community colleges. The estimated amount of money going to schools would be about six billion dollars. I think this will be good for the schools but might affect the people who are getting taxed. I would vote no on this proposition.
Proposition 34
Propsiton 34 would repeal the death penalty. This means the people who convicted murder would be allowed to live but in jail for the rest of their life. The murders would still live but might be suffering. If they are killed they could be done with life and have to worry no longer about the person they murdered. Another problem is that the murder could escape if they are not closely watched over and kill other people I would vote no on this proposition.
Proposition 37
Proposition 37 would make genetically engineered foods list all the items that are in the food item. The people buying products could then see all the products in their food. This could lead to less people getting illness from allergies to food. I would vote yes on proposition 37.
